"Nevomo, a European deep-tech company and developer of an innovative Hyperloop-inspired MagRail technology, and GATX Rail Europe, a leading full-service railcar lessor, are partnering to transform rail transportation through the use of the most innovative Improving technologies for rail freight transport.
As part of the joint development of the new MagRail system capabilities, the newly introduced booster components , which are part of the already well-known MagRail system, will be installed on conventional freight cars provided by GATX Rail Europe and then tested on the Nevomo test track.
MagRail Booster is part of the MagRail product portfolio and enables a quick retrofit of existing rail vehicles with linear motor drives. Other MagRail products intended for both freight and passenger transport require new rolling stock. The cooperation between the companies will enable tests on the Nevomo test track in Nowa Sarzyna with conventional freight wagons and further development of the new functions of the MagRail system."
