"Amtrak has announced it's offering a new buy one, get one sale for travel to Washington, D.C. for the upcoming "Welcome Home!" events to honor Vietnam veterans and their families.
The ceremonies are scheduled for May 11-13 on the National Mall to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. To celebrate, active-duty U.S. military personnel, their dependents and veterans can buy one adult fare and get 50 percent off a companion fare now through May 15."
